Wookie
Hey, my name is Matt Wolckenhauer, better known by my friends as Wookie. I am the drummer and back up vocalist for Just Enough. I have a lot of music in my blood and have been involved in music for as long as I can remember. I began drum lessons when I was nine years old. I played in all of my school bands and was the lead drummer for all of the jazz bands up through high school. I also played snare in my high school's drumline. I play the piano as well, but only took lessons for about a month. I write all of the music for Just Enough on the piano and then transpose it to guitars and violin. I write the lyrics as well, and do back-up vocals in the band. I love writing and performing, and now teaching my band mates new parts for songs. I have been heavily influenced by a million different musicians out there. I learned much of my drumming styles from playing along with Travis Barker on Blink-182 cd's. Another huge role model is Phil Collins, since he does everything that I do plus more and is just an incredible musician. I try to be as open to new ideas as possible and listen to anything and everything. I cannot get enough of music, learning, and performing, and will always be consumed by everything involving it.
